Kidambi Srikanth moved to the semis of the Swiss Open Super 300 while Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand lost to the Australian pair of Setyana Mapasa/Angela Yu.
Later, Priyanshu Rajawat and Kiran George lost against Chou Tien Chen and Rasmus Gemke respectively.
As it happened:
Priyanshu Rajawat lost to Chou Tien Chen in straight games 21-15, 21-19 while Kiran George lost to Rasmus Gemke 23-21, 17-21, 15-21.
A brilliant start from Srikanth and he has completely outplayed Lee here. 21-10 for the experienced Indian campaigner and he would like to win it in straight games.
It was such a good start from Kidambi as he raced to a lead of 7-1 but conceded three points. However, he took four points to win 11-5 at the mid-game break.
Treesa/Gayatri are fighting back but it's just not enough. The Aussies are heading to match point.
