Korea Open: Satwik/Chirag moves to semi-finals- Highlights
Indian duo Satwik Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty reached the finals of Korea Open 2023.

Indian men's doubles pair Satwik Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty overwhelmed world number 2 pair of Liang Wei Keng and Chang Wang of China in the semi-finals of Korea Open 2023.
The Indian pair won 21-15, 24-22 against the Chinese pair.
As it happened:
Satwik-Chirag defeats Liang-Wang 21-15, 24-22 to seal a place in the men's doubles final. An amazing duel between the Indians and Chinese Liang-Wang in the second game, but Satwik-Chirag wins the match as the most dominant team. This is their first win against the world no. 2 Chinese pair.
Mighty smash from Rankireddy, the Chinese pair has no answer, but they claw back to level the game 20-20. Yet, no respite for Liang-Wang, Satwik's flat body smash gives the Indians another match-point opportunity. Chinese foils it. The Indians concede three match points now. Liang-Wang continues to save their back.
Now, Rankireddy's over-the-net smash sees the Indians through to the final.
Laing-Wang wins nine of the last 13 points. They level the parity at 18-18.
Chinese pair is using smashes brilliantly. Rankireddy's return hits the net. The second game has been so close. Only one-point gap between the two sides.
Liang-Wang reduces the gap to 12-14. Fantastic exchange of shuttle between the parings. Satwik-Chirag gives a great fight but concedes two consecutive points as Liang brings flat body smashes into good effect.
Brillant defence by Chirag and supreme control at the net by Satwik enable the Indians to fight back to take an 11-8 lead in the second game interval.
The second game has been close so far, with both pairings fighting back to level the parity.
Excellent show by Satwik-Chirag. The world no. 3 Indian duo easily grab the first game 21-15, with Wang's return hitting the return.
Satwik has been phenomenal. Great placement and a bit of crosscourt half-smashes leave the Chinese perished.
A jump smash from Satwik sees Liang sending the shuttle out. Indians take six points lead at 17-11.
