Oh no, the Indian pair lose their lead as the Chinese duo build the pressure!

Ashwini-Sumeeth feel the pressure and the nerves here as they lose their lead in a tense few points and the Chinese takes full advantage of their errors and comes back from behind to pocket the first game, 22-20.

Quite the instant reminder to how Sen just lost the first set as well with the same scoreline.

Very surprising loss indeed for Lakshya Sen!

Sen put up a good fight in the first game but the second game went completely out of his grip when Rhustavito built pressure and the errors also piled from Sen's end.

Simply not the All England silver medallist's day today - but he will be coming back stronger for sure!

HUGE UPSET AS LAKSHYA SEN LOSES!

Lakshya Sen loses early at the Korea Open 2022 in a rather shocking manner, going down in straight games, 22-20, 21-9.

Sen wasn't moving as well as expected and made a lot of costly net errors. This is the first BWF tournament in 2022 from which Lakshya Sen will be returning without a medal after illustrious outings at the India Open, German Open, All England Open.

Quite the shock loss but a big win for Rhustavito here as he enters the quarter finals!

9-point lead to Rhustavito, things look difficult for Lakshya here!

Lakshya is being made to work hard here by the World No. 24 from Indonesia as he takes a whopping lead at 18-9.

Lot of net errors from Lakshya - he needs to cut down on them!

Into Game 2, the Indonesian continues his good form as Lakshya stays a little on the backfoot and is making a few costly errors at the net which is quite unusual of him.
