PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth bowed out of Korea Open 2023 as HS Prannoy moved to pre-quarterfinals.

Singles stars PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth were knocked out of Korea Open 2023 by Pai Yu Po (Chinese Taipei) and Kento Momota respectively.
Priyanshu Rajawat and the mixed doubles pair of Rohan Kapoor and Sikki Reddy progressed by winning their matches early in the day.
HS Prannoy also got better of Julien Carraggi in the first round and moved to second round.

A bit of trouble for HS Prannoy in the second game but the experienced Indian campaigner sails through and defeats Belgian shuttler Julien Carraggi 21-13, 21-17.
India ends the first round with a win after a series of losses.
The Belgian shuttler Julien Carraggi troubled Prannoy in early exchanges but the Malaysia Masters champion found his rhythm back to win the first game 21-13.
India's most in-form shuttler at the moment, HS Prannoy will be up next against Julian Carraggi of Belgium. The 31-year-old is returning after a layoff after Indonesia Open.
After winning the first game, Kidambi Srikanth imploded in the next two games allowing Kento Momota to make a comeback. Kento wins the third game 21-17 and he will move to the next round.
The losing spree for the Indian shuttlers continues.
Kento Momota makes a comeback in the second game to force a decider. Momota won the second game 24-22 with a winner that floored Srikanth.
Srikanth needs to recollect himself and win the final game.
Kidambi Srikanth comes with all guns blazing and Kento Momota has looked clueless. Kidambi wins the first game 21-12 without much resistance from Momota.
He will look to close the match in straight games and move to next round.
Kidambi Srikanth will next be up against Japan's Momota. Following that, Prannoy, the 5th seed here, will take the court.
