PV Sindhu goes down to Supanida Katethong 14-21, 21-13, 10-21 in 59 minutes in the semifinal of India Open 2021. The wait for a final appearance continues for the double Olympic medallist.

Sindhu started the decider well but now trails 7-11 before the change of sides. Can she bounce back?

PV Sindhu finds her form and pockets the second game 21-14. Much better from the veteran and off we go into a decider.

Good fightback from Sindhu in the second game as she goes into the break with a slender 11-10 lead. The former World Champion is moving brilliantly on court now and seems to have got into her groove.

She did make a brief comeback, but the lead Supanida had was too big for her liking. Surrenders the first game 14-21 in 16 minutes.

Sindhu seems to be struggling in this semifinal as Supanida goes into the mid-game break with a healthy 11-6 advantage in just 7 minutes.
