PV SINDHU WINS
WHAT A WIN FOR PV SINDHU.
She defeats Busanan of Thailand 21-16, 12-21, 21-15 in a match that lasted 1 hour and 7 minutes. Sindhu started off well is an understatement. She led 11-2 in the first game before Busanan fought back.
The double Olympic medallist looked completely down and out at the end of the second game. Her coach was worried, so were the fans. But, Sindhu did what champions do the best.
She thrived under the pressure of the decider and the Thai had no chance as Sindhu stormed her way into the Quarterfinals of the Denmark Open 2021!
6 MATCH POINTS
3-straight points for Busanan, but she soon hits one way wide. 6 MATCH POINTS for Sindhu at 20-14.
Consecutive points for Busanan
Not so easy, says the Thai as she pockets consecutive points. 19-13 lead for Sindhu.
8-point lead
Sindhu ups the pace of the game and leads 19-11 now. Should be easy win now.
