This will be the return of Satwik-Chirag at the World Tour Finals after 4 years

The duo took part in the 2021 edition of the Season Finale, but that too was cut short for them after the first group match because of a knee injury to Satwik.

This resulted in their exit as they had to give a walkover in the other two group matches, and their result was counted as null, which makes this tournament their first official match on the World Tour.
