Prannoy resumes with a point from a smash. He makes it 6-11.

Prannoy earns two quick points, but Axelsen marches to a six-point advantage at the mid-game break. Axelsen leads 11-5 in the first game.

Axelsen makes a dream start in the quarterfinal. Axelsen hits a crosscourt smash as Prannoy's return goes wide. The Dane takes a 10-4 lead.

Prannoy's shot finds the net. Axelsen takes a 4-2 lead in the first game in the quarterfinal.
