Historic all-Indian clash

Indian men's singles badminton has never seen anything like this. Prakash Padukone and Sai Praneeth (the only 2 medals Indian men have won in the World Championships) had 26 years in their middle. Now, in one year, not only are 2 Indian men assured of medals in one edition - one of them is assured to script history as the first male finalist from India.

One more match remains to be played on Court 1 before Srikanth vs Lakshya.
