The Malaysians continue to press on their advantage and now have a six-point lead at 16-10.

Satwik-Chirag did well early on and were on level terms at 6-6 but Kang-Tai have since upped the ante and left the Indians behind.
The former world No 1s from India, trail 7-11 at the second mid-game interval and would need to mount a comeback to force a decider.

Satwik-Chirag have been pushed to the backfoot early on in the second game. Kang-Tai with a 4-2 lead.
Kang-Tai take the opening game!
A flat, fast exchange – something which the Indians have traditionally struggled with – and they crumble once again.
The racquet turns awkwardly in Shetty's hand as he crouches for a defensive shot and the shuttle lands out of bounds.
Kang-Tai win the opening game 23-21. Brilliant fight back from the Malaysians after being 6-11 down at the mid-game interval.

Kang-Tai continue to get Satwik-Chirag stuck on one side of the court to win a point and go up 21-20.
The Indians come out aggressive in the next rally, and win a point at the net via Chirag to save yet another game point. 21-21.
Satwik-Chirag save two game points!
First some good work at the net from Chirag Shetty, and then a booming smash from Satwik help the Indians save two game points. 20-20.
2 GAME POINTS, KANG-TAI!
Kang-Tai lead 20-18 and have two game points. Their lifts have been causing troubles for the Indians at the back court.
Kang-Tai take the LEAD!
This is brilliant from the Malaysians. They target Satwik with the smashes and succeed in catching him in awkward positions more often than not. Some luck at the net followed by a brilliant placement, sees them open up an 18-16 lead.
Pressure on the Indians now!
Kang-Tai staging a comeback
A slew of points for Kang-Tai and the Satwik-Chirag are under the pump. Their lead has been cut down to a solitary point at 14-13.
Good stuff from Kang-Tai
A long rally and Kang-Tai push the Indians on the defensive. Satwik-Chirag do well to send the shuttle back multiple times, but Satwik eventually errs to the relentless pressure. The Indians lead 12-9.
