World Athletics Championships 2023: Neeraj Chopra won gold in the Javelin final, the men's relay team finished 5th and Parul Chaudhary finished 11th in the steeplechase final.

2023 World Athletics Championships: Neeraj Chopra won gold in the Javelin final to give India a first ever gold medal in the history of the World Athletics Championships. This is India's only medal from the 2023 edition and the third overall after Anju Bobby George's bronze in 2003 and Neeraj Chopra's silver in 2022. 

The men's relay team finished 5th and Parul Chaudhary finished 11th in the steeplechase final.
