South Africa's Tshepo Jason Tyantini wins the marquee sprint event of the night with a PB of 10.11s.

Animesh Kujur (10.32s) and Gurindervir Singh (10.39s) failed to podium.

Ancy Sojan wins the long jump with a best of 6.71m on the night.

Women's Javelin Throw Final

A big effort of 56.96m on her final throw gets Annu Rani to 3rd place & that is how it'll finish.

Brazil's De Lima takes top honours, followed by Sri Lanka's Lekamge.

Elsewhere at the Kalinga Stadium, it's a battle for top honours between India's Ancy Sojan and Shaili Singh.

After three rounds, its anybody's event to win.

Women's 100m Final

Abhinaya Rajarajan clocks 11.34s - a new U20 National Record - enroute to Gold.

Meanwhile, Jyothi Yarraji failed to finish the race, pulling up right after the start. 

Men's Shot Put Final

India's Karanveer Singh bags a bronze with a best of 20.6m on the night.

He edges out the celebrated Tajinderpal Singh Toor who is a two-time Asian Games champion and a multi-time Asian and continental medalist.
