Neeraj Chopra becomes the first-ever Javelin thrower from India to qualify for the finals of the Olympics. It could've gotten even better for India if fellow countryman Shivpal Singh was had also qualified for the final. But Neeraj's qualification in finals would be soothing for the billions of Indian fans.

The country's biggest hope in athletics will be competing in the finals on 7th August.

Well, what a brilliant start to the day as Neeraj Chopra became the first-ever Javelin thrower from India to qualify for the finals of the Olympics.

Things could've gotten even better but fellow countryman Shivpal Singh wasn't able to do what Neeraj did and was knocked out in qualification.

The finals of the Men's Javelin Throw event will take place on 7th August and it'll definitely be an exciting final.
