2025 Ostrava Golden Spike Highlights: The reigning world champion, Neeraj Chopra won men's javelin throw event at the 2025 Ostrava Golden Spike – a World Athletics Gold level meet – on Tuesday.

Chopra registered a best of 85.29m with his third attempt to all but seal his victory. Douw Smit (84.12m) and Anderson Peters (83.63m) finished second and third behind the Indian.

The win in Ostrava marked a second consecutive win for Chopra, having won the Paris Diamond League last week.

It was never in doubt once he took the lead after the third round of throws. Neeraj records 85.29m to finish ahead of Douw Smit (84.12m) and Anderson Peters (83.63m).
