Day two of the athletics had three Indians featuring across two events at the Paris Olympics.
To kick things off, Ankita Dhyani and Parul Chaudhary participated in the women's 5000m heats, and it wias followed by men's shot put, where Tajinderpal Singh Toor were in action.
As it happened:
Tajinder has a horror show at the Paris Olympics, exited the qualification round in the last place among all shot putters who has atleast a mark.
With just one attempt left, Tajinder needs a good jump.
India's Tajinderpal Singh Toor will be in action in the qualification round.
Parul Chaudhary misses the National record by 0.3 seconds, she finished in 14th position by clocking the timing of 15:10.68.
However, she fails to qualify for the final.
Ankita Dhyani clocks a timing of 16:19.4 and finished on 20th position in the heat-1.
She also fails to qualify for the next round.
