It would have earned him a bronze at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Also, Tajinder Toor now holds the Asian record in men's shot put.
"My target is 69m," says Kamalpreet Kaur.
Tajinder Pal Toor showed brilliant improvement in his performance. He surpassed his PB from 20.92 to 21.49 to break the national record and earning a berth for Tokyo Olympics.
The qualifying mark was 21.10m
Dutee Chand who held a national record of 11.22 seconds, shattered her record to make it 11.17. The qualification mark for Tokyo Olympics is 11.15 seconds.
