Bhubaneswar: The day two of Federation Cup athletics will go underway with star athletes performing in different events.
In the main attraction of the day, Nayana James won the gold in women's long jump while Shaili Singh had a dissapointing outing. Nayana James with a best jump of 6.53m. Shaili Singh came second with 6.34m in her last attempt.
Abha Khatua eclipsed the national record by scaling a throw of 18.41m in the Women’s Shot Put to decorate a gold around her neck.
Nithya Ramraj bettered her PB of 13.36 to 13.14 marking it the second fastest Indian time ever in 100m hurdles.
