India return to action on September 25 with another packed day at the Asian Games, with several medal opportunities spread across shooting, kabaddi, squash, weightlifting and athletics.

The day begins before sunrise with surfing, while India’s shooting contingent gets its first major medal opportunity in the mixed team 10m air pistol event. The qualification round starts at 6:15 AM, followed by the final at 8:30 AM. The men’s 50m rifle 3P competition also takes centre stage, with the qualification at 7:15 AM and the final scheduled for 10:30 AM.

Kabaddi will be another major focus. India’s women face Nepal in the semifinal at 9:30 AM, before the men take on Thailand at 10:45 AM. Both teams entered the knockout stage unbeaten and will be targeting places in the finals.

Squash has an all-Indian women’s singles quarterfinal as Anahat Singh faces Tanvi Khanna at 10 AM. Abhay Singh takes on Japan in the men’s quarterfinal at 9:15 AM, while Veer Chotrani faces Pakistan at 10:45 AM.

In athletics, the women’s heptathlon continues with the long jump and javelin, while the evening session features the men’s 100m semifinals and final, men’s 10,000m and hammer throw finals, and the women’s 400m.

Weightlifting also offers a medal opportunity, with the women’s 61kg final scheduled for 1:30 PM.
