Asian Games 2026: Indian women's cricket team in action on September 18 – Schedule, timings

India endured a disappointing start to its 2026 Asian Games campaign as the men’s doubles pair of Declan Gonsalves and Mohamed Anas Baig exited at the Teqball group stage on Thursday.

While Declan’s campaign in Aichi-Nagoya has ended, Anas still has one more event to play. He will partner Quimcy Dsouza in the mixed doubles group stage on Friday.

Quimcy will also compete in the women’s singles event, while India will also begin its campaigns in women’s cricket and the men’s team event in soft tennis on Friday.

The women’s cricket team will face hosts Japan in the quarter-finals, while the men’s soft tennis side will compete in three group-stage matches.
