Deepika Kumari takes up the challenge in the Women's events and will be the sole Indian representative in the women's individual round.

An San took the third set as well and advances to the semi-finals. Deepika Kumari shot a lowly 24 with a 7,8 and 9 while the Korean shot 26 with double 9s and an 8. Deepika Kumari crashed out of the Olympics.

An San (KOR). - 8, 9, 9 = 26.
Deepika Kumari (IND) - 7, 8, 9 = 24.
An San takes the second set as well. She started with a 9, but came back with a 10 followed by a 7 to post 26. Kumari managed just 24 with two 7s and a 10.

An San (KOR) takes the first set with a perfect 30! 10, 10 and 10. Deepika Kumari (IND) started with a 7 but came back into the contest with double 10s.
First Set

She wins it with a score of 6-5. It was tight but Deepika managed to get through and capitalised on the mistake of the Russian.
That one 7 shot by Deepika hit killed her final game and this will head into a one arrow shoot off.
