Till last night, India did not have a Gold medal at the Youth Olympics. Now we have two. This is India's flagbearer and India's first female Youth Olympic champion. This is Manu Bhakar. She won India's second GOLD at the 2018 Youth Olympics. After a brief barren spell and an unsatisfactory outing at the Asian Games, all eyes were on Manu as she took the fray. She topped qualifications with 576-19X but a rockey final few shots from her made it a very nerve racking 10m Air Pistol final. At the end, India was made to know what it feels like to win more than one Gold at an Olympic tournament after Manu added on to weightlifter Jeremy Lalrinnunga's historic Gold in Buenos Aires.
