After heartbreak in Rio, Vinesh worked twice as hard to get over a painful injury that took her out of the competition, eyeing a return in the next Olympics. All the hard work paid off as she is back with a bang, her competitors now have to watch out as she is taking no prisoners.

An exceptional 7-1 victory over Mattsson helps Vinesh get off to the right start. You know that she is going for it all when she shakes her head in disappointment despite a dominant victory. She has set extremely high standards for her with the hope that it propels her to the gold. Judging by her first match, she has a really good chance irrespective of who she faces.

Vinesh is near the cusp of glory as she increases her lead to 7-0. This is truly one of the most dominant performances we have seen. Mattsson is a former Olympic bronze medalist but unfortunately seemed to be no match for Vinesh.

Mattsson seems no match for Vinesh as she has done most of the attacking up until now but still trails Vinesh who leads 5-0. This is the ideal game for any young Indian wrestler to watch and learn!
