The trials for the Indian wrestling team ahead of the 2024 Wrestling World Championships have concluded, with a strong roster set to represent the nation.

The championships will take place from October 28 to October 31, 2024, under the auspices of United World Wrestling (UWW).

The World Wrestling Championships have a storied history, with men's Greco-Roman wrestling held since 1904 and freestyle wrestling since 1951, alongside women's freestyle since 1987.

This year's event promises to be a platform for Indian wrestlers to showcase their talents and aims for podium finishes.

With a talented lineup, the Indian team is poised to make a significant impact at the championships, continuing the country's tradition of excellence in wrestling.

Indian Women's Freestyle Team:

- 55kg: Kirti

- 59kg: Mansi

- 65kg: Manisha

- 72kg: Bipasha

Indian Men's Freestyle Team:

- 61kg: Udit

- 70kg: Manish

- 79kg: Jaideep

- 92kg: Sandeep

Indian Men's Greco-Roman Team

The selected athletes for the Men's Greco-Roman category include:

- 55kg: Sanjeev

- 63kg: Chetan

- 72kg: Ankit Gulia
