The current champions of the Women's Premier League, Royal Challengers Bengaluru had a good campaign in the last season after they clinched their first-ever title.

Led by Smriti Mandhana, RCB defeated Delhi Capitals in a tight finale to finish the second season of WPL on a high.

The team has maintained its Indian core by retaining the likes of Smriti, Renuka Singh, Richa Ghosh, and Shreyanka Patil and they have also kept their foreign core of Ellyse Perry, Sophie Devine, and Georgia Wareham.

Additionally, they traded Danni Wyatt from UP Warriorz adding more firepower to their batting line-up.
