Women's U19 T20 World Cup: Vaishnavi Sharma’s hat-trick floors Malaysia
The left-arm orthodox spinner’s five-for was the highlight of the game.

India Women remained unbeaten at the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup after scoring an emphatic 10-wicket victory over Malaysia on Tuesday at Kaula Lumpur.
Put into bat, the hosts were bowled out in 14.3 overs, after which India sprinted home in just 2.5 overs.

Vaishnavi Sharma’s hat-trick
Sharma, a left-arm orthodox bowler, sent down a magical four-over spell which yielded five-wicket.
More importantly, she walked away with a hat-trick, scalping the wickets of Nur Ain Binti Roslan, Nur Isma Dania Binti Mohd Daniel and Siti Nazwah in the 13th over.
Sharma was right adjudged the player of the match.

Support from the rest
While Vaishnavi Sharma was the destroyer-in-chief, there rest of the bowlers ensured that the hosts had no room to score.
Aayushi Shukla bowled a spell of 3/8, while VJ Joshita picked up 1/5.
Light work of target
The defending champions made light work of the total with Gongadi Trisha hammering five boundaries en route to a 12-ball 27.
G Kamalini didn’t have much to do and India romped home in under three overs.
Unbeaten start to campaign
Defending champions India have now won both their opening fixtures so far in their title defense.
On Sunday, they had bowled out the West Indies for 44 and had overhauled that total in under five-overs with nine-wickets to spare.
India’s next game is against the talented Sri Lanka on the 23rd of January.
