India went down by 11 runs against England in their Group B clash of the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Smriti Mandhana's half-century and a valiant unbeaten 47 from Richa Ghosh went in vain as the women in blue slipped to their first defeat of the World Cup.
Earlier in the day, Renuka Thakur shone with a fiver - the best ever bowling figures for an Indian at the Women's T20 World Cup, even as England posted 151/7 after being asked to bat first.

An excellent delivery first up from Renuka Thakur, which seems to be swinging in but holds its line as Danni Wyatt looks to defend. The ball takes the outside edge, and Ghosh does the rest with a sensational catch.
