    Good strike rotation!

We have reached the half way mark of the Indian innings and the Indian batters have put on a much better show. Harmanpreet and Mandhana are rotating the strike well and finding the odd boundaries. While the former has looked comfortable, the latter is starting to get a bit itchy.

    100 up for India!

India bring up their 100 exactly at the 20th over. Both Mandhana and Kaur look comfortable for now and they need to carry on for a better part of the remaining innings.

    IND - 79/3 (15)

India were 62/2 at the end of 10 overs. Not only has their run rate come down in the last five overs, the West Indies have also managed to eke out a wicket in the form of Deepti Sharma.

Is all the intent proving to be too costly for India? Whatever it may be, the women in blue have some very testing times ahead and they desperately need their experienced pros - Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur to fire.

    STUNNING CATCH!

Anisa Mohammed comes into the attack and she scalps Deepti Sharma almost immediately. The southpaw tries to sweep, but gets a top edge. Hayley Matthews at the slips stretches full-length to her right and plucks one out of thin air. STUNNING.

Big wicket for West Indies as Sharma was just starting to look good with a couple of boundaries.

India have scored at a fair clip in the powerplay, but they have lost two wickets. Time for some rebuilding now with Mandhana and Deepti Sharma in the middle.

    Mithali Raj DEPARTS!

The Indian skipper tries to work Hayley Matthews through to mid-wicket, but fails to keep it down. Hits it straight to Shamilia Connell and the pressure is right back on India now.

    Change in batting order!

After a lot of criticisms, India has separated the three left-handers at top of the order. Mithali Raj walks out at 3 instead of Deepti Sharma.

    Yastika Bhatia FALLS!

The youngster chips one back to the bowler Shakera Selman and has to walk back. She would have wanted to continue, the way she was hitting them. But, regardless Bhatia has managed to get India off to a flier.

    IND - 49/1 (6.3)

    West Indies under the pump!

It was a surprise West Indies did not open the bowling with off-spin considering two left-handers at top for India. They have gone to Hayley Matthews now trying to correct their mistake, but Mandhana treats her with disdain. Steps out and hits her over extra cover for a boundary.

    Connell taken to cleaners

Connell is being taken to cleaners as she leaks 15 off her third over. Smriti Mandhana gets her first boundary with a nicely timed drive, bisecting the fielders at point and cover.
