Can compound archer Rakesh Kumar advance to quarterfinal?
The last surviving Indian compound archer, Rakesh Kumar will take on Slovakia's Marian Marecak shortly. Marecak has truckloads of experience, having been competing at the international level since the early 2010s.

Simran finishes 5th and is knocked out
Despite a PB of 12.69, Simran is unable to get the better of the top two competitors who will advance to the next round. She is unfortunately knocked out.

Shot Put update
The WR in women's F34 Shot Put is 8.82m. It will be interesting to see how the other competitors fare given that they have to cross 7m to beat Bhagyashri Jadhav.
