The Chinese pair win the match in straight games

Crushing loss for India's Bhavinaben and Sonalben as the duo couldn't find their game against the dominating Chinese pair of Zhou Ying and Bian Zhang. 

The Chinese duo wrap up the Women's Doubles Class 4-5 match in just 13 minutes, 11-2, 11-4, 11-2. 

Shot Put - Bhagyashri Jadhav is out of medal contention

India's Bhagyashri Jadhav has fallen down to number 4 in the final of women's F34 category. With all her attempts exhausted, there is no way she can win a medal here.

A stitch in time may have saved nine but not now

The Chinese pair race up to take a 9-1 lead, just 2 points away from sealing the match now!

It's now or never for India in the first match of the team event!

We are into the third game and Bhavina and Sonal must turn things around to survive this match. However, China has gotten off to a 4-0 lead, dominating way too much in this opening match!

No sweat broken at all for the Chinese pair as they pocket the second game!

Once again in a blink-and-you-miss it game lasting 4 minutes, Ying and Zhang power past the Indian pair to clinch Game 2, 11-4!

Into the second game of the doubles we go!

Zhang and Ying, seasoned paddlers as they are - are not allowing Bhavina and Sonal to play their usual game as they keep dominating the match.

In the second game, the Chinese have the lead at 7-2 as super quick rallies are being exchanged!

Needing just 4 minutes, Zhang and Ying wrap things up quickly in Game 1, in just 11-2.

The Women's Class 4-5 Team event will be played out in a Best of 3 matches format

The team event will feature 1 mandatory doubles, 1 mandatory singles and another singles match can be played depending on the scoreboard.

Currently, we are in the doubles as Bhavina and Sonal are trying their best against the fierce Chinese paddlers who aren't leaving any room for breathing! 

They are up against Zhang Bian and Zhou Ying of China!

The first game has already begun and the Chinese are in no mood to waste time. They have dashed off to a 7-1 lead!
