Alas, it isn't to be today for Palak/Parul - the Chinese win the match!

Clinical dominance from the superior Chinese side as they close out the match in 20 minutes, winning 21-7, 21-5 to hand the Indian pair a crushing loss!

Palak/Parul win service just when the Chinese have match point!

Blink and you miss points getting on the board for the Chinese!

Palak/Parul are struggling to find their rhythm and answers in this opening Group B Play stage match as the Chinese bound up to take a 19-4 lead! 

No sweat broken at all for the Chinese!

Retaining service very comfortably the second seeds from China are proving to be very strong for the Indian duo as they take the mid-game interval lead again at 11-4!

We move to Game 2 where Palak/Parul need to up their game!
