The Indian para-badminton star in the SL4 category, Tarun Dhillon, registered a straight-game victory over Thailand's Siripong Teamarrom. The Indian won 21-7, 21-13 in 23 minutes in his first match at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics.

Tarun started off in a fantastic fashion, pocketing the first game 21-7 in just 10 minutes. The Indian was at the top of his game with some wonderful deceptions and drop shots as Siripong Teamarrom was left searching for answers.

The Thai did try to stage a comeback in the second game and force the match into a decider, but Tarun Dhillion upped his game under pressure to win the match 21-7, 21-13 in just 23 minutes.
