Sumit Nagal exits Rosario Challenger in the round of 16
The Indian lost to Hugo Dellien who dominated the match and won in straight sets.

Indian tennis star Sumit Nagal's run in the 2025 Rosario Challenger ended on Thursday, with a round of 16 exit.
Facing Hugo Dellien, the Indian lost in straight sets 6-1, 6-4, and exited the tournament.
Earlier, he had defeated Argentina's Rezo Olivo in the opening round, winning 5-7, 6-1, 6-0 but couldn't reciprocate the same against the Bolivian in the pre-quarterfinals.
The match started with Dellien taking a 4-0 lead in the first set, Nagal simply unable to handle the heat. Set one came to a quick end, with Dellien winning 6-1, taking a 1-0 lead.
Nagal showed more fight in the second set but the result was inevitable, with Dellien wrapping things up in the second set 6-4, advancing into the last eight.
Sriram Balaji enters semis in Play In Challenger, France
There was good news from France as Indian doubles tennis player Sriram Balaji advanced to the final four of the ongoing Play In Challenger in France.
Partnering with Portuguese Francisco Cabral, the pair defeated Filip Duda and Jiri Barnat in the quarterfinals in straight sets 6-3, 6-4, booking a spot in the semifinals.
The duo made light work of the quarter-finals, comfortably winning both sets and now have a chance to make it into the final.
They will now play the Dutch-Swiss pair David Pel and Jakub Paul in the semifinals, scheduled today.
