The top-seeded Indian men's doubles duo, Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Vijay Sundar Prasanth, came from behind to clinch the ATP Challenger 100 title at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune on Saturday.

They overcame the challenge of the second-seeded Australian pair, Blake Bayldon and Matthew Romios, with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-0 victory to be crowned champions in front of the home crowd.

This was Jeevan's third career title, while it was the second for the duo as a pair, following their Hangzhou Open triumph late last year.

A spirited comeback

The Indian pair had a slow start to the final, conceding the opening set 3-6 after suffering a late break in the eighth game, which gave the Aussie duo a significant advantage.

However, they mounted a strong comeback in the second set, applying intense pressure and earning four break points against Bayldon and Romios, which they eventually converted to force a super tiebreak.

In the decisive super tiebreak, the Indian duo completely dominated the court, sealing the set 10-0 without dropping a single point.

Jeevan and Vijay will now head to Dubai for a major ATP 500 tournament, scheduled to begin on February 24. They have received a wildcard entry into the main draw of the event.
