ITTF World C'ships: Manika, Diya, Manav bow out from singles – Highlights

2025 ITTF World C'ships Highlights: The Indian campaign in singles events at the 2025 ITTF World Championships in Doha came to an end on Tuesday as Manika Batra, Diya Chitale, and Manav Thakkar bowed out in Round of 64.
While Batra lost out to a lower ranked Park Gahyeon of South Korea 0-4 in straight games, Thakkar put up a brave fight against fourth seed Tomokazu Harimoto before losing 2-3.
Chitale, meanwhile, took a game off the tenth seed Cheng I-Ching of Chinese Taipei before losing 1-4.

Manika Batra bows out!
Manika Batra has been outclassed by a 17-year-old Park Gahyeon of South Korea.
The Indian goes down 8-11, 7-11, 5-11, 8-11 to the world No 130.
Batra, who recently hit a three-year low in women's singles world rankings, continues to struggle for form. This loss brings an end to her ITTF World Championships campaign.
