Page Industries Ltd., the exclusive licensee of Speedo International Ltd. in India, today announced the launch of a structured athlete advancement program, marking a significant step in its commitment to advancing swimming as a sport in India.

The program currently supports a cohort of 12 athletes comprising both elite swimmers and para-athletes reflecting Speedo India's approach to building an inclusive, future-ready swimming ecosystem.

The program brings together a strong roster of athletes, including Olympian Sajan Prakash, alongside elite swimmers Suhas Mylari, Harshita Jayaram, Nina Venkatesh, Shristy Upadhayay, Shoan Ganguly, Rishabh Das, Aditi Hegde, Bhavya Sachdeva, and Rujula S. Para-athlete Niranjan Mukundan and Suyash Jadhav is also part of the cohort, integrated as an essential part of the athlete ecosystem.

The program works on a structured, multi-tier framework that encourages and promotes performance, consistency and commitment to lead the sport in national and international stage.

The Speedo India cohort delivered a standout performance at the 79th National Aquatic Championship held in Ahmedabad, securing an impressive total of 22 medals - including 11 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze.

The athletes also showcased exceptional excellence by setting 6 new national records, underlining Speedo’s strong legacy in competitive swimming. This achievement reinforces Speedo’s continued dominance and commitment to nurturing top-tier swim talent in India.

Additionally, Speedo's Coach Connect Program works closely with more than 1,000 coaches in a year at over 250+ swimming pools across India. Swimming coach and former national swimming participant Nisha Millet , Kishore Shetty - GMAAA Mumbai, Hardik Patel – Karnavati Club Ahmedabad, Joshua Joseph - Head Coach & international referee – MGMO Mumbai, Sharath M Gayakwad - Zee Academy Bengaluru are some of the well-known names associated with the program.
