The partnership has yielded into hosting a Super Fan contest on every IPL team group on the app, with plenty of exciting cash prizes up for grabs. The contest has already seen an overwhelming response as over 1,500 IPL and cricket fans have joined the community. As the IPL season draws to a close, the leaderboards for this contest are getting tighter due as a result of the fantastic work pulled off by Sportwalk in a partnership that seems set to flourish.

SportsHosts is bringing together sports fans from around the globe through their new appMeanwhile, SportsHosts is bringing together sports fans from around the globe through their new app. With nearly 6,000 members from 20 countries, they aim to bring together passionate sports fans from around the world to share incredible experiences online and in-person and to use their collective power to leverage teams and sponsors to deliver experiences for fans that money cannot buy. In a way, fans get to enjoy an entirely new level of belonging in a world United by Sports - a community that is by fans, for fans, they have run several virtual events on their app to bring people from everywhere together during a pandemic that has made travel and human interaction extremely tough.

Darren Walls, the Founder of SportsHosts, came up with the idea with the purpose of uniting people in a world that was becoming more and more divided. An avid sports fan himself, he quickly realised that sports unite people more than anything else. Having previously worked in several executive roles in the tourism industry, being the founding CEO of the arena that is now home of the Australian winter Olympic Institute, being the Director of Commerce and Marketing at Zoos Victoria, he has found a project that reflects his experience, passion, and ideals.

With a decade of experience in broadcast and media, and working on two Olympic Games, Michael Barrett quickly fell in love with the concept of SportsHosts. He came on board as the co-founder and is now also the Director of PR and Content. The team now also consists of Saketh Renati as Stakeholder Manager, Shivashankar Ranjit as Content and Acquisitions Manager, and Prayansh Desai as Partnerships and Community Manager.

Starting off in Melbourne as a platform to connect travellers and locals so they could watch live sport together, SportsHosts expanded to the USA in 2018 with fans from San Francisco and New York. In 2020, they launched their new app to bring all sports under one roof, without the ads and toxicity of other existing platforms. They believe that there is no room for any kind of division or discrimination in the world, and despite differing principles, every fan adds value to the community. The app has groups for fans to connect and share their experiences, make connections and find common ground through their love for a team, athlete or sport.
