Paralympics 2024 Para-Shooting: Nihal Singh, Rudransh Khandelwal bows out in Qualification- Highlights
Catch the highlights of Indian para-shooters' performance in the Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 Qualifications round at the Paralympics 2024.

Paralympics Shooting Highlights: After Avani Lekhara's fifth-place finish at the women's 50m air rifle 3 positions on Tuesday, we're back with the live coverage of para-shooting.
Nihal Singh and Rudransh Khandelwal were in action in the mixed 50m pistol SH1 qualifications and failed to qualify further.
The final of the event is also scheduled for Wednesday itself.

Series 3 ( Shots 21st to 25th): Rudransh slips out of the top 8
Rudransh Khandelwal begins with a 9 and falls down to 8 on the 22nd shot.
The love affair with 8 continues for Rudransh hits another 8 and makes it a hattrick of 8s, ends with a perfect 10.
Nihal shoots a 10 to start the 3rd series, hits an 8 in the second attempt, up by one point hits a 9.
Hits a seven and ends on a high with a 10, currently out of contention for the final.

Series 2 ( Shots 16th to 20th): Rudransh climbs to 5th Position
Rudransh hits a 10, two back-to-back 9s and 8s.
Nihal seems to settle in, taking time to complete his second series.
Nihal starts with an 8 and hits a 6 next.
It seems Nihal is feeling the Paralympic pressure, hitting 8 on his 18th shot & 19th shot.
Ends with a perfect 10, currently at 25th position out of 29 athletes.

Series 2 ( Shots 11th to 15th): Rudransh stays in the Top 8
Rudransh starts with a 10 and hits back-to-back 8s, Rudransh bounces back to hit a 10, which takes him to the top 8 for now and ends with a 9.
Nihal starts strong, shoots a 10 and a 9, 10, and again faulters with a 7, ends with an 8, currently at 19th position
Shooting has such fine margins and the 50m distance makes it more hard.

Series 1 ( Shots 6th to 10th): Rudransh is in the top 10 with 90 series 1 points
Rudransh starts with a 9 and 10, then hits three 9s on a trot, and jumps to the 9th position.
Nihal starts slow and hits an 8, followed by back-to-back 9s, back at the 8s in the penultimate shot of the series, ends with a nine.

Series 1 ( Shots 1st to 5th): Underwhelming start by the Indians
Rudransh starts with two back-to-back 9s, followed by an 8, up by a single point to 9 in the next two shots.
Nihals hits a 9 and an 8 to start with and hits a 9 again, falls to 7 in the 4th shot, ends with a 9.

A total of 29 para-shooters will take the range, along with 7 female shooters.
The shooters will take a total of 60 shots, 10 shots per series to determine the top 8 qualifiers for the Final.
