Paralympics LIVE: On Tuesday afternoon, the Indian shooters were back in action at the 2024 Paralympics.
Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal were in action in the women's 50m air rifle 3 positions qualifications, the final was also scheduled in the later part of the day.
Where Avani Lekhara finished fifth and couldn't replicate Tokyo's success.
However, both Avani and Mona, having already bagged medals at the ongoing Paralympics.

The shooters will score the more in the prone round as the position gives the most stability for an athlete to function.

Series 4 ( Shot 36th to 40th): Avani finishes with 97 points
Avani began the last five shots in the kneeling position with a 9 and two 10s and ended the round with two 9s.
She's currently in the sixth position.
Meanwhile, Mona began with two back-to-back 9s, then hit two back-to-back 10s and ended with a 9, currently at 13th position.
