Paralympics LIVE: On Tuesday afternoon, the Indian shooters were back in action at the 2024 Paralympics.
Avani Lekhara and Mona Agarwal were in action in the women's 50m air rifle 3 positions qualifications, the final was also scheduled in the later part of the day.
Where Avani Lekhara finished fifth and couldn't replicate Tokyo's success.
However, both Avani and Mona, having already bagged medals at the ongoing Paralympics.

Avani is placed at top after the first series.
Avani started with a good 10.2 but faltered with a 9.4 in the next shot. However, 10.9 and 10.7 in the next two shots meant that she would top the charts after the first series in Kneeling.

Avani most likely to make it to the Finals
While the rest shooters complete their quota of shots, it's highly possible that Avani will qualify for the finals in the 7th position.
However, there's no respite for Mona Agarwal, she gets eliminated and ends her Paralympics Games journey of 2024.

Series 4 ( Shots 36th to 40th): 50/50 by Avani, Series of 97 by her.
Avani begins with two 10s on a trot, and making it a hattrick of 10s again.
Mona with three 9s and two 10s, climbs to 13th position, likely not to qualify for the finals.

Series 4 ( Shots 31st to 35th): 10, 9, and a 8 by Avani to start
Finishes with back-to-back 10s, and stays in 7th position with 5 shots to go.
Mona begins with a 9 and follows it up with a hattrick of 10s, and ends with a 10 as well.
