On Monday, the Indian athletes returned to the Stade de France with renewed vigor owing to multiple medal opportunities.
In the final of the men’s discus throw (F56), Yogesh Kathuniya delivered a stand-out performance and picked up a silver medal.
Thereafter, late on Monday night, the focus shifted to Sumit Antil, when he stepped up in for the final of the men’s javelin throw (F64).
Whereas, the World Champion Deepthi Jeevanji took the track in the Women’s 400m T20 round 1.
