Super Sunday brought double delight for India in Athletics.

Paralympics 2024 LIVE: On Sunday, the Indian contingent had multiple finals appearances at the Paralympics.
In the women’s 200m T35 final, Preethi Pal clocked a 30.01s to finish in bronze medal position.
Thereafter, in the Men’s high jump T47 final, Nishad Kumar put in a season’s best of 2.04m to bag silver.
Also, Ravi Rangoli was in action the Men’s shot put F40 final and his personal best effort of 10.63m enabled him to finish 5th.

A guide-runner is tethered to the blind athlete by a 30cm string tied to the wrists.
And the string must be tethered between the guide and the athlete at all times through the course of the race.
