Paralympics 2024 Para-Athletics: Preethi Pal wins a bronze medal, Manu finishes 6th in Men's Shot Put F37- Highlights
The Indians saw action in the track and field events at Paris on Friday.

Day 2 of the Paris Paralympics continued on Friday and the Indian athletes saw action in track and field events on Friday.
Starting at 1:30 pm, Sakshi Kasana and Karamjyoti stepped up to the plate in the Women’s discus throw F55 event.
Thereafter, at 4:45 pm, Preethi Pal took the track in the Women’s 100m T35 event. And finally, late on Friday night, Manu featured in the Men’s shot put F37 event.

Former world champion, Rosa MarÃa of Mexico jumps up to the top with 25.81m throw
The reigning bronze medalist and the former world champion, Rosa MarÃa Guerrero Cazares of Mexico, had a decent outing in the final as she registered the best throw of 25.81m on her third attempt.
However, she will be disappointed as she missed the 26m mark. But, she still is among the favorites to medal in this event, here in Paris.

The second athlete from Uzbekistan finished with a season-best of 17.26m on her final attempt.
She is currently at the top of the leaderboard after two participants finished their competition.
