Paralympics 2024 Para-Archery: Compound mixed team creates world record in ranking rounds - Highlights

Paralympics 2024 Para-Archery LIVE: The Indian compound archers are in action Thursday at the Paralympics in Paris.

Sheetal Devi and Sarita kicked off proceedings in the women's individual compound open ranking round.

Sheetal was in great form and finished 2nd in the women's individual compound open ranking round with a personal best score of 703. Sarita was ranked 9th with a score of 682.

In the men's individual recurve open ranking round, India's Harvinder Singh was ranked 9th with a score of 637.

The attention now shifts to the mixed team event where Sheetal Devi and Sarita will be joined by Rakesh Kumar and Shyam Sundar Swamy.

Remember, this Indian mixed team are the current holders of the world record, having posted a score of 1,398 in July 2023.
