Paralympics 2024 Para-Shooting: Rubina Francis wins Bronze -Highlights

After a historic first day at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre for India, Avani Lekhara defended her Tokyo Paralympics title, Manish Narwal won a silver, and Mona Agarwal clinched a bronze, we're back with the Day 2 action of the Indian para-shooters at the Paralympic Games 2024.
Two Indians will be in action today. Swaroop Mahavir Unhalkar will be first in action at the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 Qualification at 1:00 PM, followed by Rubina Francis in the 10m Air Pistol SH1 Qualification later in the day.
The finals are scheduled to be played later today.

Series 5 (41st to 45th): Swaroop's symphony
Swaroop started with a 9.9, 10.1, 10.2, and 10.3 & ended with another under 10 shot, 9.7.
Slips to 16th position.

Series 4 ( Shot 36th to 40th): 51.2 in the 5 shots, Swaroop stays in 15th
With all shots above 10, but only a sole above 10.5 with a 10.7, Swaroop seems to lagging behind the competition.
South Korean's Park Jinho and Jip Young Shim are currently at the top.
The deficit between 8th-ranked athletes increasing, and the average shot difference has increased to 0.132 points.

10.6 & 10.7 were the 2 highlights in the 5 shots, Swaroop stays in 15th position.

Series 3 ( Shot 26th to 30th): Swaroop slipped to 16th
Swaroop started with a bang, A 10.6, but followed a similar story in the next 2 shots, an underwhelming 9.9 and a 9.7.
He bounced back with a 10.4 but finished with a 10.1, the average arrow difference between the 8th spot and Swaroop is just 0.1.
A flurry of good shots can take him to the top-8 for sure.

Series 2 ( Shot 16th to 20th): Swaroop stays in Top-15
Swaroop has definitely improved from the first series ending up with 103 points and a total of 204.5 points.
The shot from 16th to 20th went above 10s for him: 10.2,10.3,10.3,10.2,10.5.
We've a new Korean leader after 20 shots Jip Young Shim with 208.9 points.

Series 2 ( Shot 11th to 15th): 51.5 points from Swaroop
A Steady start to the 2nd series, 10.4,10.1,10.2.
Swaroop bettered it with the 2 shots with a 10.6 & 10.2.

Series 1 ( Shot 8th to 10th): Swaroop slips to the 13th Position
Swaroop misses the 10s, hits 9.9 followed by a 9.4.
However, Swaroop ended the first series with a 10.4 taking his score to 101.8.
Yerkin Gabbasov of Kazaksthan comes up with a 104.6 best performance during the first series.
Four Para-Shooters ended up with a score of 104 or more.
