Paralympics 2024 Para-Shooting: Avani wins Gold, Manish wins Silver, Mona wins Bronze - Highlights
Along with the two events, the mixed team air rifle standing (SH 2) qualification and medal event will take place today.

Shooting Para-Sport events at the Paris Paralympics begin today, starting at 12:30 PM, IST.
The first event is the women's 10m air rifle standing (SH1) qualification. It will be followed by the men's 10m air pistol (SH1) qualification and the mixed team air rifle standing (SH 2) qualification.
All three events will conclude today, with the finals scheduled for later in the day.

Manish Narwal won the 2023 World Championships in Lima with a final score of 239.7.
The Paralympic & world record holder from China Yang Chao is also present in the field of 8 athletes.
Here we begin with stage 1, 5 shots x 2, then 2 shots for elimination at stage 2.

Sriharsha Devaraddi scored 104.9 points and took a lot of time to complete his series 2.

A total of 60 shots will be played, in a series of 10s.
The bull's eye gives players a score of 10.9.
The qualification world record holder is French de La FOREST Tanguy with 638.7 points, who's also on the list of players in the qualifying.

Sriharsha Ramakrishna Devaraddi will be in action at the Mixed 10m Air Rifle Standing SH2 Qualification.
Ramakrishna earned a quota for the Paris Paralympics after securing a gold medal in mixed 10m air rifle SH2 at the Chateauroux Para Shooting World Cup in June 2022.
SH2 athletes have a disability that prevents them from holding their rifles independently. They require a shooting stand or similar support to stabilize their firearm. While they can aim and control the rifle themselves, they may need assistance with reloading.
