Paralympics 2024 Archery: India wins historic bronze in mixed team-Highlights
Team India will directly feature in the quarterfinals of the mixed team event in the compound archery open category.

Indian para compound archers Rakesh Kumar and Sheetal Devi made history at Les Invalides arena, winning the bronze medal in the mixed team compound archery open category at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
After winning Indonesia in the quarters, India narrowly lost out to the Iranians in the semi-finals but prevailed in the bronze medal match against Italy, winning it with a record score of 156-155.

Both teams will have four ends, or rounds, and in each round, four arrows will be shot, two each by both the players.
Ultimately, the team that scores the most points wins the match.

Rakesh and Ken played out a classic match yesterday in the round of 16, with the former coming out on top against the world no.2 in the shoot-out.
