Paralympics 2024: Hokato Sema wins bronze medal with a new PB
With Sema's bronze medal, India has won a total of 27 medals at the Paris Paralympics including six gold, nine silver and 12 bronze.

India's Hokato Sema Hotozhe won the bronze medal in the men's shot put F56 category after throwing a personal best at the Paris Paralympics on Friday.
Sema threw 14.65m in his fourth attempt to finish in the third spot. Sema was consistent and threw over 14m three times out of his six attempts.
Another Indian in the event, Soman Rana finished fifth with the best throw of 14.07m.
Sema's medal means that India has moved to the 16th spot with a total of six gold, nine silver, and 12 bronze medals.
Earlier in the day, Praveen Kumar broke the Asian record to clinch the gold medal in the men's high jump T64 making it six gold medals for India, one more than Tokyo Paralympics.
Simran Sharma reaches 200m T12 final
India's Simran Sharma, the reigning world champion, breezed her way into the final of the women's 200m T12 race with a time of 25.03 seconds at the Paralympic Games here on Friday.
Simran had earlier topped her heat and entered the semifinals with a timing of 25.41s.
Bhavanaben Chaudhary finishes fifth in Javelin
It was a good show from Bhavanaben Ajabaji Chaudhary who finished fifth in the women's javelin throw F46 category breaching her personal best thrice.
Bhavanaben began with a new personal best of 37.31m in the first attempt and she bettered it with a throw of 39.64m in her third attempt. The fourth attempt was her best attempt with a throw of 39.70m.
