Para-Shooting

- R8 - Women's 50m Rifle 3P SH1 Qualification:

Avani Lekhara advanced to the finals, securing 7th place with 1159 points. Mona Agarwal did not qualify, finishing in 13th place with 1147 points.

But she finished 5th with 420.6 points in the finals. Despite holding a strong position, an 8.3 in the Prone series impacted her medal chances, preventing her from capitalizing on her lead.

Para-Athletics

- Women’s Shot Put F34 Final:

Bhagyashree Jadhav, the Indian flag-bearer at the opening ceremony, achieved 5th place with a throw of 7.28 meters.

- Women’s 400m T20:

Deepthi Jeevanji made history by winning bronze with a time of 55.82 seconds. She becomes the youngest-ever Indian track medallist, showcasing her talent against a formidable field.

Pooja Jatyan advanced to the quarterfinals after a decisive 6-0 victory over her Turkish opponent. In the quarters, she was defeated by China’s Wu Chunyan 4-6. Jatyan was ahead 4-0 but faltered under pressure, losing the final three sets and the match.
