Paralympics 2024 Day 2: Indian shooters win three medals, Preethi becomes India's First Track Medalist- Highlights

Several Indian athletes were in action on Day 2 of the Paralympics 2024.
The schedule includes group-stage matches in Para-Badminton and Para-Table Tennis, qualification and medal matches in Para-Shooting, Heats in Para-Rowing, and medal matches in athletics and cycling.
Tokyo 2020 Paralympic gold medalist Avani Lekhara will headline the event in Para-shooting, while Manu and Preethi Pal will compete in the finals of Men's Shot Put F37 and Women's 100m T35 respectively.
Meanwhile, Arshad Shaik will compete in the Men's C2 3000m Individual Pursuit final in Para-cycling.

Arshad Shaik will be taking part in heat one as a solo cyclist.
Remember, it is all about the timings at para-cycling.
The first and second place in the qualifying rounds will compete in the gold medal race, whereas the third and fourth-placed cyclists will compete in the bronze medal race.

Para-Table Tennis Quarterfinal: Bhavinaben/Sonalben bows out in Women's Doubles!
Bhavinaben and Sonalben missed out on a semifinal spot after losing to the Korean pair of Young A and Sunghye by 3-1.
The Korean pair won the first two games, but the Patel sisters fought back in Game 3 to reduce the deficit to 1-2.
However, the Korean pair used their experience and superior skills to win Game 4 and the match with an 11-6 score.
