2025 World Para Athletics C’ships Highlights: Indian athletes ended Day 2 without any medals at the World Para Athletics Championship in New Delhi on Sunday. The athletes showed their competitive spirit with personal best and season best efforts.
In the men's Javelin Throw F57 final, Praveen Kumar was eighth with a season best effort of 41.92 while Hem Chandra finished last (tenth) with personal best of 41.17.
In Men's Long Jump T45/46/47 final, Vikas was sixth with 6.96m while Ajay Singh was tenth with season best effort of 6.31m.
In the Men's 100m T37 final, Rakeshbhai Bhatt was seventh with 11.88s while Shreyansh Triverdi was eighth with 12.18s. India is eleventh on the medals tally with three medals (1G, 1S and 1B). Brazil with 10 medals is on top.

Praveen Kumar registers season best twice!
Praveen has gets season best of 41.42m in his first throw itself. He battered it in his final attempt with 41.92m. He registered 41.42 (1st attempt), 38.05 (2nd attempt), 38.32 (3rd attempt), 41.28m (4th attempt), 40.88m (5th attempt) and 41.92m (final attempt).
Will his throw be a medal winning effort? We'll have to wait and watch!
